Thoroughly enjoyed this story with colorful characters, betrayal, lost love, and second chances. Juicy family secrets are definitely the center of this story, and who doesn’t love that?!

This story focuses mainly on Dorothy, and her daughter, Laurel. Laurel witnesses her mother do something shocking when she is sixteen years old. Many years later, with her mother dying, Laurel feels an urgency to solve the mystery surrounding this event.
