Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus
Not what I expected at all, but I was so pleasantly surprised. This book is full of twists and turns. Looks like a rom-com but it is not! Such a cute book with darling characters and a really great message for women to push through the barriers that hold them back!
Elizabeth Zott is a fearless chemist and her bravery will inspire you. She pushes past societal standards (especially those limiting women) and embraces + encourages every woman in her life. She pushes women to think more highly of the immense work they put in at the workplace AND at home. The mother daughter relationship is so beautiful and I loved this dynamic.
