This was such a fun dystopian fantasy that gave me Hunger Games vibes! The first half of the book I was thinking it was 3 stars, but wow, the end!
In the kingdom of Talin, the palace hosts a set of games. For those chosen, they can fight to the death to win unimaginable riches. Some of the competitors the palace didn’t see coming!
The pace did feel slow for me the first half of the book, but it did pick up! I was unsure how much I liked this book UNTIL THE END. I reread the last 3 chapters multiple times because I was STUNNED!! I will for sure pick up Book 2 when it comes out!
