Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Septeys

A beautifully written story that captivated me from the very beginning.

Fifteen year old Lina is a typical teenager living in Lithuania, until Soviet soldiers barge into her home and disrupt her families lives.

Perfect for you if you're in the mood for a tear jerker.

I listened to this book and enjoyed the format however there are moments where the FMC is recounting past experiences but there's no signaling- I'm sure in the physical copy it's reflected in a change of font or italics.
