This was my first TJR book and it convinced me to make my way through everything she writes. It's full of drama, relationships, and makes you examine what's important in life.
What is about: Old Hollywood actor Evelyn Hugo determined to secure an A-list spot in the industry. On this journey she married 7 husbands and outlives them all.
What I thought: Loved this. The twist was unexpected and TJR just has a way of writing characters that feel unbelievably real. Heavy topics.
Read it if you want a page turner that will make you laugh, cry, and want to google images of Evelyn.
