Farley and Meyer are a comedian and her manager who are close friends. They end up fake dating to enhance Farleys career and feelings start to grow.
If you are in a reading slump, this is an easy, happy, enjoyable read that will get you out of it! It has so many of our favorite tropes: friends to lovers, fake dating, single dad… ITS GOOD! It was refreshing that there was no big blowup or miscommunication, just mature adults and enjoyable characters. I laughed out loud multiple times and flew through it in 2 days. But I warn you now, it is spicey.
