When in Rome by Sarah Adams

(Book 1)

This book is perfect for you if you love the grumpy-sunshine trope; coupled with dual POV narration. The plot has laugh out loud moments, small town gossip, and unexpected twists that add depth to the story.

I did audio with this one and I think that format may have affected my review. I could see myself enjoying the physical copy a bit better- I didn’t love the male voice. Or maybe it’s just a mood reader problem? I liked it! Overall it was a darling story and perfect to have in my ears while I’m doing laundry or making dinner.
