Juniper Bean Resorts to Murder by Gracie Ruth Mitchell

This book had me laughing out loud in the first half. It’s a rom-com + murder mystery mashup. And it’s available on KU! It reads like a traditional romantic comedy, and then it blends into a cozy murder mystery.

Juniper ends up roommates with her teenage crush. After they find a dead body together, they team up to solve the mystery. I’ve heard the audio performance is great and I think I might’ve preferred a book like this in that type of format so I could giggle while folding laundry. This has the grumpy/ sunshine and forced proximity tropes that I usually LOVE, but I just couldn’t wrap my head around the age gap romance/ see the chemistry. Definitely worth it if you have kindle unlimited though!
