A Court of Silver Flames by Sarah J. Mass
When you read an 800+ page book in two days, it deserves 5 stars. At first I was so uninvested in Nesta’s character. I actually read this several years after I finished ACOTAR because all I wanted was more Feyre and Rhysand. Nesta doesn’t have any redeeming qualities at the beginning of this book but by the end I loved her. I loved the friendships she made.
There are so many twists and turns in this plot that I did not predict! I will forever nerd out on the imagery of the lake scene. Can’t say much more or I’ll spoil it!
The romance does have a lot of steamy scenes and I’d say it’s got more spice than I’d prefer. I did laugh out loud when typing out the number of chapters that had open door scenes. A tad on the side of “spice rivals plot”. However, the plot was incredibly addicting.
Perfect for you if you love…
